  • YES! We accept BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and Sana

  • Registered Dietitians are nutrition professionals that are required to obtain a bachelors degree (now a masters), complete an accredited supervised practice program, and pass a national exam. Registered Dietitians are also required to obtain continuing education in order to keep their license.

  • At Empathy Nutrition Therapy we all believe in providing care from a nondiet and weight inclusive lens.

    -We have providers licensed in Texas, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania

    -Collaboration is a value of ours. Every provider collaborates with therapists, doctors, psychiatrists on the team.

    -Each dietitian has unique experiences. Some examples include: working in a treatment center, college, and mental health agency.

    -We have providers that are billingual: English and Farsi

    -We support LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities.

    -Our dietitians have a deep understanding of eating disorders, disordered eating, and medical nutrition therapy for various conditions. Weekly supervision is required under the supervision of a certified eating disorder specialist supervisor

  • Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a full charge if not received at least 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if the cancel/reschedule is less than 48 hours.

    1. Please fill out the submission form

    2. Our admin will contact you within 24-48 hours.

    3. If we do not hear back via email, our admin will call within 24 hours of no contact from the number: 512-670-8356

    4. We will provide you with an insurance script to verfiy your benefits prior to sessions starting. If you need assistance with this please let us know.

    5. We will assign you with one of our dietitians to schedule an initial appointment. You will receive a link to fill out all of the new paperwork.
